We don’t edit any stories in order to preserve the original voice and language of each contributor.

Feel free to do so! If you can read one of the languages already available on the website, please use the form in that language to submit your story, and simply indicate which language your submission is in.

...about the general project

The Life in Quarantine Project Team wants to rally for and create an archive that reflects the experiences of people from all walks of life. We are dedicated to demonstrating how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the lives of people while paying close attention to the differences and similarities in experiences. We are able to do that much more easily today than in the past given that we live in a world shaped and marked by digital interactions.

Everyone! Our website is designed to serve as a resource for people around the globe.

Our many partnerships help us engage with our communities and expand our project’s educational potential. For instance, the NoiseFilter podcast has been featuring our stories on their show, while also providing medically sound information about Covid-19 to listeners across America.

Our team would like to collect demographic data for possible research endeavors at Stanford University relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. All safety and privacy protocols will be upheld should information be used for research purposes. 

All submissions to our archive and our art and literary collaboration sections will be published provided they adhere to our submission guidelines.

All submissions to our blog collaboration section will be reviewed by our team and, if approved, they will be published. Authors will be notified shortly after their submission.
